SecondsSenior secondary students at R. N. Podar School have three academic semesters: the first is spent waiting for Podar Summit, the second is spent working for it, and the last few months are spent cherishing its success.
Since its inception, the Summit has grown from intimate classroom debates to the grand halls of Mumbai's most storied venues. It throws its arms open to delegates from across the state, simulating committees on the lines of the Security Council, Economic and Social Council, and beyond.
This is not merely a conference. It is a crucible — designed to mould the fierce, articulate, and visionary leaders of tomorrow.

As youth citizens in this dynamic and unstable world, we are witnessing what can be called a new era of conflict and violence worldwide. With wars waging more frequently in many parts of the world, peacekeeping alliances being broken, escalating regional conflicts, increasing number of humanitarian crises and the accelerating consequences of climate inaction, the present global situation brings to light the failure of institutions that were built to prevent such conflicts and hold those responsible accountable. It is against this backdrop that we invite you to join us for the 16th edition of Podar Summit on 1st and 2nd August, 2026 at The Club, Mumbai.
Podar Summit, the annual Model United Nations conference hosted by R. N. Podar School promotes young individuals to engage in meaningful discussion and deliberation over conflicts that plague the world, and to develop skills of diplomacy, confidence and public speaking. For over a decade, Podar Summit has been a platform where delegates come to challenge their assumptions and develop on resolutions to real-world conflicts, inculcating in themselves a sense of responsibility that extends far beyond the committee, and to realise the weight of the discussions that take place in the United Nations in matters of peacekeeping. It has become one of the most anticipated MUNs every year, in the Mumbai MUN circuit, drawing students from various schools and various cities to engage in a battle of diplomacy over the period of these two days.
This year's edition of the Podar Summit promises an experience that meets the gravity of this moment, with futuristic committees and agendas, that will prompt delegates to engage in meaningful debate. We hope that after this conference, the delegates leave with a clearer sense of their responsibility as a global citizen. With experienced Executive Board members, thought provoking agendas, dynamic committees and a welcoming environment for new delegates and seasoned speakers alike, we hope that Podar Summit 2026 turns the delegates from passive observers of world conflicts, to well-informed advocates for world peace, justice and equality.
